Dr Sunit Matha

Paed basic for Nurses and airways Course director

I began my medical career in India, specialising in Paediatrics and Paediatric Critical Care before moving to Australia a decade ago and completing my CICM training. Since Monash Children’s Hospital opened in February 2018, I’ve been part of the PICU team, growing alongside the service.

My professional interests include Paediatric Neuro Critical Care, Sedation and Analgesia, and PICU Education. Recently, I’ve also developed a strong interest in the role of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare and continue to explore its emerging applications.
